PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

The term "Cancellation" refers to non-attendance at your scheduled event, including any postponements or rescheduling. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISKS AND ASSUMPTION OF RESPONSIBILITY

While Sayulita Couples Retreat has taken reasonable measures to ensure safety, you recognize that engaging in the activities entails inherent risks. Some of these risks are integral to the unique nature of the activities and cannot be entirely eradicated without compromising their distinct character. The very elements that contribute to this uniqueness may result in loss, damage, accidental injury, illness, and in extreme cases, permanent trauma, disability, or death, as well as damage to or loss of property.

Activities may vary and encompass, but are not limited to, yoga, movement classes, neurofeedback, ice baths, sweat lodges, TRE (Tension Release Exercises), breathwork, cooking, swimming, snorkeling, surfing, hiking, boating, using zip-wires and rope swings, kayaking, and engaging in physical activities in various natural environments with diverse surface and atmospheric conditions, as well as wildlife.

Events may involve travel to remote locations, often hours away from medical facilities. Transportation, evacuations, and medical care may experience significant delays, and communication may be limited or unavailable. Environmental risks include rapidly moving water, deep or cold water, insects, snakes, predators, falling and rolling rock, lightning, flash floods, and unpredictable natural forces, including abrupt weather changes without warning. Possible injuries and illnesses range from hypothermia, frostbite, high altitude illnesses, sunburn, heatstroke, dehydration, to other mild or severe conditions.

Throughout the trip, participants are accountable for their own safety. On-site, there is uneven terrain, steep drops, possible storms, flooding, power cuts, and wildlife such as scorpions, snakes, crabs, and insects that cannot be entirely controlled.

By booking an event, you acknowledge that Sayulita Couples Retreat activities inherently involve risks of injury or death. You understand that the provided description of these risks is not exhaustive, and other unforeseen risks may result in property loss, injury, or death. You willingly assume responsibility for the identified inherent risks and those not specifically outlined. Participation in activities is entirely voluntary, undertaken with full knowledge of these inherent risks. Consequently, you assume full responsibility for any injury, death, loss of personal property, and expenses resulting from both identified and unidentified risks, and due to negligence in participating in this activity. You agree to sign a waiver before participation to cover your time on the retreat.

As Sayulita Couples Retreat is not comprised of medical doctors, guests must consult their medical practitioner to ensure they are physically and mentally fit to participate in the event activities and any additional activities they choose to purchase.

We cannot guarantee the availability of all services, amenities, or activities at all times of the year. Sayulita Couples Retreat is not liable for any losses or damages incurred due to the unavailability of services, amenities, or activities.
The content of the leader's classes is not designed by us. The beliefs or attitudes of the event leader do not reflect those of Sayulita Couples Retreat. We bear no responsibility for the actions or omissions of third parties or independent contractors, including any modification to the nature of a service or event as compared to the advertised nature of the service.

For the collective well-being of all participants, Sayulita Couples Retreat retains the right to accept or reject any participant at any time without incurring liability. If, at its sole and exclusive discretion, Sayulita Couples Retreat determines that a participant is disruptive to the harmony of the event, it may expel the participant without any obligation to provide a refund or any other compensation. Tracking Technologies Beyond Cookies

What about other tracking technologies, like web beacons?
Cookies constitute just one method for recognizing or tracking website visitors. Occasionally, we may employ alternative technologies, such as web beacons (also known as "tracking pixels" or "clear gifs"). These are minuscule graphic files containing a unique identifier, enabling us to discern visits to our Websites or opened emails incorporating them. This facilitates activities such as monitoring user traffic patterns, delivering or communicating with cookies, assessing if visitors arrived from online ads on third-party sites, enhancing site performance, and gauging the success of email marketing campaigns. Often, these technologies rely on cookies for proper functioning, and rejecting cookies may impede their performance.

Do you use Flash cookies or Local Shared Objects?

Websites might utilize "Flash Cookies" (Local Shared Objects or "LSOs") to collect and store information regarding your service usage, fraud prevention, and other site operations. To prevent Flash Cookies storage, you can adjust your Flash player settings through the Website Storage Settings Panel.
Additionally, control Flash Cookies by accessing the Global Storage Settings Panel and following provided instructions. Note that restricting Flash Cookies acceptance may impact the functionality of certain Flash applications, potentially affecting those used in connection with our services.

Do you serve targeted advertising?

Third parties may employ cookies on your computer or device to deliver advertising via our Websites. These entities may leverage information about your visits to this and other websites to present relevant ads for products and services of potential interest. Technologies like cookies or web beacons may be used to measure ad effectiveness. However, the information gathered does not allow us or them to identify your name, contact details, or other direct identifiers unless voluntarily provided by you.

How often will you update this Cookie Policy?

This Cookie Policy may undergo periodic updates to reflect changes in the cookies used or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Regularly revisit this policy to stay informed about our use of cookies and related technologies. The date at the top indicates the last update.
